Habitat
Eastern Bluebirds can be found in many places all over North America (excluding the western U.S.). Some of the best places to find them are in open fields with scattered trees, orchards, or in clearings near water. As the bluebird populations have grown it has become common to sight them in or around urban areas where favorable conditions exist for feeding and reproduction. Eastern Bluebirds need trees as roosting/rest spots, and so that their young have a safe place to land after fledging.
